Go to stats.dealerspike.com.
Sign in with your user name and password.
Click the Custom Reports tab at the top of the screen.
Click the Add New Report button at the bottom left.
Choose what kind of report to create and click the Choose Type button.
Choose the metrics and dimensions you'd like and set them up appropriately.
Click the Create Report button at the bottom of the page.

The Web Stats platform has several reports pre-configured for you to browse showing basic stats for your website and visitors, but it also allows you to create custom reports using all of the data it has acquired. You can set up custom reports to show data in new ways, like page views per country or bounce rate per device, or you can add filter conditions to only show a subset of data for a particular audience you want to target, like iPhone users. This article will show you how to set up and add custom reports to the web stats platform.

Creating Reports

Start by signing into the web stats platform. If you need instructions on logging in, click here.
Next click on the Custom Reports tab at the top of the screen.
Here you'll see any reports that have already been created for your site. Click the Add New Report button at the bottom to start a new one.
First you'll have to pick a visual format for your report. Each format is set up basically the same, but will be presented differently.
After picking a type for your report, you'll be taken to a page where you can fill in the details:
1. The Report Name field at the top will be the title the report will show up under in menus.
2. Under Visibility choose either All Users to share the new report with any other accounts set up for your website or Author to keep it to just your account.
3. Next you'll be able to pull in the metrics and dimensions you want to use to create your report. Metrics are quantifiable pieces of data, like the number of views a page got, or the bounce rate of a page. Dimensions are non-quantitative descriptive data, like the title of a page, or the IP address of a visitor. You can combine multiple metrics and dimensions to create different charts. Try dragging some metrics and dimensions in from the right-hand side and click the Refresh Preview button on the left to see how it changes the report.
4. In the Filter Dimensions section you can pull in dimensions to filter the data for your report so you only see the activity you're trying to target. If you have a report listing views for pages, for example, you could pull in the country dimension here to only show page views from American or Canadian visitors, or you could filter out non-mobile visitors to just see the pages that are popular with mobile visitors.
5. When you're happy with how the report looks, click the Create Report button at the bottom of the page to save it and add it to your custom reports list.
