Use the below instructions to find and complete missing Ecommerce configuration items. If you would like more information on the full capabilities of Ecommerce including all integrations and warehouse items see Ecommerce Terms and Functions.

I do not see Ecommerce on my website.

If you do not know where Ecommerce should be: Click here to read about Accessing Ecommerce.

If you do not see Ecommerce, you may need request our ecommerce platform from your Website Manager.

Basic Ecommerce functions are missing on my website.

Confirm you have entered basic Ecommerce information.

Go to Settings > Webstore.
- Confirm General Settings & Contact Information information.
- Save any changes.

Confirm you have not set your store to Coming Soon status

Go to Settings > Webstore.
Go to General Settings & Contact Information information.
- Confirm Coming Soon is not checked.
- Save any changes.

Why Can't Customers submit Leads?

Customers can enter a lead for accessories, aftermarket, and OEM goods even on non-transactional Ecommerce instances. If this is not available:

Go to Settings > Webstore.
Confirm General Settings & Contact Information information has been entered especially:
- Lead Submission Email: the email address leads are sent to.
- Coming Soon: Hides store pages behind a Coming Soon banner.
  - Uncheck this. If Coming Soon is checked your Ecommerce pages will be hidden behind a Coming Soon banner.
- Save any changes.

Why are some or all products missing from my Ecommerce Store?

Have I added Products to my Ecommerce Store?

Access Ecommerce and confirm Products exist in the Catalogs that should have data.

Open Catalogs> Aftermarket if you expect Aftermarket Catalogs:
- If a dealer has no Aftermarket Catalogs, dealers can reach out to their Web Manager to request adding Aftermarket Catalogs.
  Don't forget to configure the default Warehouse Rules for your initial Catalogs!
If a dealer has some Aftermarket Catalogs but is missing Products from a specific vendor:
- Confirm the correct Dealer ID number is entered in the vendor's Dealer ID field in the Dealer Identification section under Account Settings > Dealer Identification.
  Don't forget to add and configure Warehouse Rules for added Catalogs!
  If a Catalog fails to appear after a dealer enters and saves their dealerID under Settings>Account Settings they may need to reach out to their web rep for a "re-index".
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and save.
Open Catalogs > OEM if you expect OEM Catalogs with parts and accessories.
- If you are missing OEM Catalogs, reach out to your Web Manager to request adding Aftermarket Catalogs.
Open Catalogs > Private if you are expecting custom entered Private Catalog Products.

Do my Aftermarket or Private Product Groups have Public Categories?

If a Product Group lacks Categories, it is unlisted and will not be available within Ecommerce on your website. If Product Group is in a hidden Category, Products in that Category will not be available on your website.

OEM Products lack Categories and cannot be hidden.

Product Groups are found at Webstore>Products.
Select the appropriate Catalog (Aftermarket or Private) and hit Submit to view Product Groups for that Catalog.
- You may use the sort and search functions on the left if you are looking for a specific Product Group.
Note the Category Path. If the Product Group does not have a Category Path it is unlisted and will not show on the webstore. You may update the Category to list the Product Group.
Check that the noted Category is not a hidden Category. Information on hidden Categories can be found in Show and Hide Product Groups and Categories.

Why can't customers check out?

Have you configured a payment method?

Applications to some Payment processors may take several weeks. Be aware of this lead time!

You may continue configuring Ecommerce methods while waiting on a Payment Processor, but customers will be unable to check out until payments can be taken.

Customer payments cannot be taken without a payment processor. Click to learn about payment options below:

Have you enabled transactions on your store?

Go to Settings > Webstore.
- Confirm General Settings & Contact Information information. Confirm Hide Prices, Non-Transactional Store, and Coming Soon are unchecked.
- Save any changes.

Is Inventory available for a chosen Product?

Go to Settings>Webstore.
Look under Category & Search Results Pages.
- If In-Stock Only is set to Shelf Quantities Only products will not be available for checkout unless inventory has been entered into Ecommerce.
- If In-Stock Only is set to Shelf & Distributor Quantities Only products will not be available for checkout if inventory has not been entered into Ecommerce and it is also unavailable from entered distributor warehouses.
- Save any changes.
Look under Shipping & Taxes.
- If Allow Backorders is not checked customers will be unable to purchase Products if inventory has not been entered into Ecommerce and those Products are also unavailable from entered distributor warehouses.
- Save any changes.

Is the Customer attempting to buy from out of state?

Go to Settings>Webstore.
Go down to Shipping & Taxes.
- If Disable Out-of-State-Orders is checked customers will not be able to make Ecommerce purchases while out of state.
- Save any changes.

Have you configured Tax Information?

Missing or incorrect Tax Information will prevent checkout, or result in incorrect taxes on Orders.

Go to Settings>Shipping:
- Under Shipping & Taxes confirm you have entered all address fields and any Nexus States.
Nexus States allow Ecommerce to apply taxes appropriately for any states beyond your primary state of business.

A Nexus State is any state outside your primary state where you may be eligible for additional tax. Reasons for Nexus States include but are not limited to: locations, including home offices, in this state; owned warehouse or storage in this state; Inventory stored by others in this state; and doing short term business in a state (ie. at a trade show).

Please reach out to the state tax authority for any state you are unsure qualifies as a Nexus State.
- Save any changes.

Have you configured a delivery method?

There are two delivery options, and at least one must be configured and available to allow checkout.
